It's the phrase I've been hearing at home lately, and I confess, it has cost us some tantrums.
Over the 18 months begins the stage where the little ones seek autonomy.
They want to do everything themselves, and although it is exhausting, it is a good time to teach them to do some tasks by themselves.
A good idea may be to adapt corners of the house so that your little one can do things alone.
I show you in detail:
that we have used at home to accompany Matteo in this phase:
We did it in a corner of the kitchen with a shelf and a water dispenser both from Ikea.
The shelf is JONAXEL in its smallest version cost us €25 (See here). The water dispenser is made of glass, it is called IKEA 365+ and you can see it HERE.
To prevent the dispenser from moving I put a silicone trivet that I had at home and a cloth. I show you:
We have placed your glass so that can serve water alone, and cloths so you can dry any spilled water.
Also We put their plates, cloth napkins and cutlery to help us set the table whenever you feel like it.
TRICK: You can put a small round basin at the bottom so that most of the water falls out the first few times. I show you:
